KARMA!! Here's what it is!
by Siri-Gian Khalsa
So many people ask me,
"So why do I have to go through all this pain and suffering? Is God or my Soul just playing some kind of cruel joke on me?"
So, I made a study of this, asking Soul what the heck is going on here! These are the answers that I was given. And they bear out every time I do a Soul-level healing with folks.
THE READER'S DIGEST EXPLANATION OF KARMA
As you know, simply put the Law of Karma says that whatever you do will come back to you. So, if we do something to or for someone, we will be the recipients that exact same situation at a future time.
The Arcturians on Soul Fragmentation
by Sal Rachele
Note from Feel Good Girl: The following information is channeled. Whether or not you believe in channeling, I feel this is one of the simplest explanations I've read on the concept of many souls/one God.
Greetings in the light of the Infinite Creator. We are the Arcturians. The channel has asked us to speak on a subject that is rather complex and misunderstood by most on Earth. We will try to make the best possible use of your language. The channel will attempt to clarify any misconceptions brought about by the limitations of your language.
The subject of soul fragmentation must be approached from multiple levels of understanding. From the highest possible level, there is but One Soul because we are all One Being manifesting as individual facets.
Catching More Flies with Honey: How ‘Love’ and ‘Oneness’ Teachings Are Used to Disempower
This is Chapter 8 in an evolving book: ‘Blowing the Whistle on Enlightenment: Confessions of a New Age Heretic,’ by Bronte Baxter
“Love one another.” “We are all one.”
Such beautiful sentiments. Love is the balm that heals the heart, and oneness the reality that joins us. But spiritual teachers with an agenda use “love” and “oneness” teachings to keep the lid down on their disciples’ spiritual development.
A Spiritual Take on Partisan Political Fearmongering
by Stephanie Brail
Each presidential election, America turns into a football field where two sides, Republicans and Democrats, fight it out in a bloody battle that usually ends up leaving the country more divided and bitter once the game ends. Each side thinks that it has the claim to moral superiority and rightness. As the game wears on, fans becoming increasingly rabid and nonsensical, to the point where fisticuffs often ensue.
As elections become closer and closer, the two sides begin to employ increasingly drastic slash and burn tactics to take out their opponents. On the right we have the Republicans, who use scare tactics to tell us that voting for a Democrat is sure to rain terrorists down upon our heads. To the left we have the Democrats, who use scare tactics to tell us that electing a Republican is sure to bring World War III down upon our heads.
Ascension Symptoms? Or Something Else?
by Stephanie Brail
There's a popular spiritual mailing list I won't name that I left long ago due to what I felt was its disingenuous content. Unfortunately, a well-meaning friend of mine, not knowing that I purposefully left the list, has a habit of forwarding these and other channeled messages to me regularly. I don't read all of the messages, but once in a while I take a peek and see what's being said.
The general theme is typically "ascension," and it's becoming more and more urgent as we near 2012. "Ascension" is a broad term referring to the new age version of the "Rapture." In the most extreme form of "ascension," all good new age people will "ascend" to a higher earth plane while mere mortal earthlings will remain here, in a living hell. (Real loving, eh, to leave everyone you don't like behind?)
Just Because Positive Thinking is Effective, That Doesn't Mean the Law of Attraction is True
by Stephanie Brail
Since I do hypnosis and energy healing, you would think that I would be a huge fan of the Law of Attraction, right? After all, I often use hypnosis to help people visualize positive outcomes for themselves, often with very powerful results. I use affirmations in EFT and in my healing music. Aren't all these things the Law of Attraction?
No. Visualization, energy work, and affirmations are not the same thing as the “Law of Attraction.”
First, let's distinguish what these things actually are. Visualization is a personal development technique. Energy work, or energy healing, is a method of spiritual healing. Affirmations are another method of personal development. All of these things are tools.
The Philosophy is Not the Tool
The Law of Attraction is not a tool. It is a philosophy. It is a philosophy that states, “whatever you focus on, you will attract into your life.”
The Law of Attraction, Science, and a Challenge to Rhonda Byrne
by Stephanie Brail
I am a mystic, but I am also a science geek. I used to teach science to elementary school students. I believe in miracles, but I believe these miracles occur within the framework of a very real world that is subject to certain laws of physics. Science is very complicated, and you cannot reduce the way the universe operates down to one simple formula.
Yet, many are accepting the idea that the so-called Law of Attraction is the way the universe works, or, in the least, the way people’s lives work. This idea, now put forth into the mainstream by The Secret, has been called “scientific” by many of its adherents. Yet, this label is not only misleading but downright false.
